It was an overcast afternoon....perfect for taking pictures outdoors. Cole was my first target! Most of these shots are taken along the creek that runs through our backyard.

Living History Farms

We took a short vacation to Des Moines with our good friends the Hagemann's. Our first day was a trip to Living History Farms, an awesome dinner at Spaghetti Works (it was Monday, so kids ate free.....and we had 8 between us!), and a night of swimming and hanging at the hotel. Fun was had by all! I had debated about taking Cole, but was so glad I did. He loved every minute and was very good!

Loras All Sports Camp 2009

Tyler completed his fourth year at Loras All Sports Camp. We dropped him off on Sunday afternoon and observed him in various activities on Friday morning. His major sport was football and his minors were golf and BASKETBALL! He likes the camp because of the fun activities, cheers, and the food that is better than mine. We like the nightly paddle talks and life lessons he learns. Hailey will attend the next session for the first time. We hope she loves it as much as Tyler has! Stay posted!!

First Game is a Big Hit!

Following in his big brother's footsteps, Luke proudly took the field for his first t-ball game of the season. They call it t-ball, but the coaches actually pitch to the players. Luke hit the ball well and played first base and outfield. (PLEASE NOTE: Even though his team is the White Sox, Luke remained loyal to the Cubs by sporting his Cubs hat!!!!!!!)

Soccer is My Game

Tyler's traveling soccer team played a tough match against a talented team. They lost (I think it was 3-1), but Tyler gave it his all. He had many saves in the goalie box and hustled on defense during the second half.
